We heard today that two American tourists were attacked in Beijing yesterday. The news said that they were related to one of the men’s volleyball coaches. I don’t know who for sure, but we do know that Todd and Barb Bachman’s daughter is married to the head coach and that they were planning on traveling to Beijing. We are praying that they are all right and for the family of those attacked. Please keep them in your prayers.
Sad news indeed about Todd and Barb. We still await further details. Many prayers are being said for Barb and the family. We know Todd’s faith has now placed him with his Heavenly Father, and it is left for the rest of us to grieve. But we give thanks for the promises God has for each of us. Todd now marches with the saints in glory. I’ll bet he’s experiencing some really fantastic singing! But God cries with us all at this untimely death.

Greetings and peace to all.
PEACE, something the world still wants and needs.
Thank you for being embassadors for PEACE.
The Olyimpics, are taking center stage in the world to
showcase peace and partnership.
The tragic attack & death of Todd Bachman, one of our own brothers in Christ, cries out for peace.
Ironically, Todd was known for his gentle and peaceful manner. We pray for Barb, her recovery, her family, our church, community and world. It feels shattering, but we can’t give up working/praying for peace.
Thanks for the wonderful updates and insights on your personal experiences. I so appreciate knowing that everyone is enjoying each other too.
Senja, please share some of your insights, you have a good way with words. I’d love to hear from you.
I’m glad you are managing the diet and staying healthy.
I spent the last 5 days up-north, at the cabin.
It was beautiful weather. Kyle says “Hi”.
He had a great fishing trip in the BWCA. It was a good thing I was at the cabin because their vehicle broke down
(seems to be a pattern) I rescued them from Ely and transported 4 guys, 2 dogs, 1 canoe and losts of fishing gear home. We got back with just 1 minute to spare before Kyle had to be to work!
How about that!!
Brian, thanks for your kind words.
I hope to go with you next time
God’s Love and Peace to ALL
